When is the best time to book my maternity session?
I recommend scheduling your maternity session between 28–34 weeks. By then, your bump is beautifully visible, and you're usually still feeling comfortable enough to enjoy the experience. If you're expecting twins or have a high-risk pregnancy, we may choose an earlier date.
Where will our session take place?
Most of my maternity sessions are held outdoors during golden hour for that beautiful, soft light. I have several locations which I frequently visit in Melbourne's West, including Newport, Avondale Heights, Yarraville, Seddon, Williamstown and surrounding suburbs. If you have a favourite location, somewhere that's meaningful to your family or you would feel more comfortable at home, I'd love to hear about it. Together, we'll choose the perfect setting for your story.
What should I wear?
Don't worry—I've got you! I'll send you a styling guide with tips on choosing outfits that photograph beautifully. Soft, neutral colours and flowing dresses always work wonderfully, but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident.
What if my toddler doesn't cooperate?
Please don't stress—it's completely normal! I don't expect little ones to sit still or smile on command. My sessions are relaxed and playful, allowing your children to explore, cuddle, laugh, and simply be themselves. Often, those genuine moments become everyone's favourite photographs.
Can my partner and children be included?
Absolutely! Maternity sessions are all about celebrating your growing family. Partners, siblings, and even your furry family members are more than welcome to join in the fun.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
Your gallery will be carefully edited and delivered within a few weeks of your session. I know how exciting it is to see your images, and I take great care to ensure every photograph is beautifully finished and ready for you to treasure.
